This is a print of an original painting by Jonathan Sanders.

When Jonathan was working on his sculpture of Follow Me baby elephants, he sketched his subjects from a variety of angles. He further worked on one of his drawings until he was satisfied that it was a lovely painting it its own right.

Jonathan's original painting has been reproduced on high quality Innova Art Fine Art Watercolour cold press 330 gsm paper, using only Epson Ultrachrome inks which are guaranteed to be light fast for 120 years in normal viewing conditions. The prints are then carefully mounted by hand on Arqadia Minuet 2000 micron acid free conservation board that complies with Fine Art Trade Guild Conservation Level framing, ready for you to frame and hang.

The prints are carefully torn around the edges before mounting, so it stands slightly proud of the back board upon which it was mounted. ‘Image size’ refers to the size of the actual water colour paper image within the mount.

Once each image has been printed and mounted, it is individually signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. This is your guarantee that this is an authentic, approved print of Jonathan Sanders’s original painting.

Jonathan has spent many years studying elephants and other animals in their native Africa. His deep understanding gives his sculpture a unique life that makes his work very popular with collectors.
