Since we started Nelson & Forbes in 2009, we have exclusively commissioned, cast and sold our own sculptures in bronze.

Over the years, we have received countless enquiries from sculptors asking whether we would also consider making their sculptures available to our collectors, alongside our own work.

We have seen so many beautiful pieces over the years that we have decided to launch a collection of the very best that we have seen, and are delighted to introduce to you our new ‘Guest Artist Collection’.

The ‘Guest Artist Collection’ is a glorious and ever changing collection of sculptures created and cast by the artist themselves, which we showcase alongside the rest of our sculptures which we have commissioned and cast here at Nelson & Forbes.

You will spot a Guest Artist Collection sculpture on our website by keeping an eye out for the ‘NF Guest Artist’ round logo (shown left), displayed on the sculpture’s page.  You can easily browse all sculptures in the collection from the home page by clicking on the link that shows the ‘Guest Artist Collection’.

You can buy a sculpture in the Guest Artist Collection as simply and easily as you would one of our own Nelson & Forbes castings.  Simply add it to your basket and checkout as normal.  Delivery worldwide is still free and you will be able to check the transit time of your sculpture before you check out.  As with the rest of our collections, transit to Europe is typically two working days, USA and Canada two to three working days and Australia three to five working days.

All sculptures in the Guest Artist Collection arrive in a bespoke handmade Nelson & Forbes wooden shipping box, accompanied by a certificate that has been printed, signed and numbered by the sculptor themselves.

The sculptor chooses at the outset how many castings will be in the limited edition of their work.  Sculptures in Guest Artist Collection are typically cast as limited edition of twelve castings or less.  The sculptor may choose to make just one casting in the edition available to us to sell, or they may offer us the whole edition, but once the whole edition has been sold, no further castings of that sculpture will ever be cast.

We have carefully selected the best sculptures by some of the most talented artists working today, to showcase their work to you here.  Each casting passes our rigorous quality control checks before we make it available to our collectors and you are assured of the same high level of customer care and attention to detail with the packaging and delivery of your sculpture that you have come to expect from Nelson & Forbes.
