All orders are delivered FREE to all addresses in the USA.

All items ordered for delivery to an address in the USA are not subject to VAT (UK sales tax). Our website shows prices both Including VAT and Excluding VAT for your convenience.

All items ordered for delivery to an address in the USA (or anywhere outside of the UK and EU) will be charged the “Excluding VAT” price shown on the product page. This applies regardless of where the billing address is (even if it is within the UK or EU).

Please note that if you are logged into the site (you have purchased previously and have an account) and your default delivery address is outside of the UK and EU, you will still see two prices: Including VAT and Excluding VAT. However, you will note that they are both the same. Both prices will be the Excluding VAT price. This is because our website recognises that your default delivery address is in a nom VAT country, and so it only shows you a non VAT price.

Wherever you live in the world (including a non VAT country), when you order an item for delivery to an address within the UK or EU, you will be charged the VAT inclusive price, no matter where you live.

How Long Will My Order Take To Arrive?  

All our parcels are shipped to the USA using TNT, partnered with FedEx.  You will receive tracking details at the email address you provide, so that you can follow your parcel’s progress along its journey.

If you order a product that is in stock, it will be dispatched the working day after you place your order.  Orders dispatched to the mainland USA will then take approximately 2-3 working days to arrive.  Please note that courier transit times can be a little longer around their busy holiday periods.

If the product you have ordered is out of stock, it will be dispatched on the date shown on the product page.

 

Ordering Both In Stock and Out of Stock Items

If you order an item that is in stock and an item that is out of stock at the same time, we will deliver the in stock item immediately and the out of stock item according to the dispatch date shown at the time of purchase.  If you prefer both items to be delivered together when the out of stock item is sent, please note this in the comments box when you check out.

 

Will You Need to Be In to Take Delivery?

Unfortunately we are not able to leave parcels without a signature.

If you are not in when TNT/FedEx first attempt to deliver, they will leave you a card, offering to redeliver the next day and providing you with a telephone number to make alternative arrangements if you so wish.

 

Import Duty and Taxes

Our bronze sculptures are sent under a harmonized tariff code that is exempt from import duty in the USA.   Our experience has been that our shipments do not require any import duty or tax to be paid when they are imported into the USA.

Additionally, since 10th March 2016, the value of all goods that may be imported free of duty and tax into the USA, also called the De Minimis, is $800.

In our experience, these two factors mean that duty and taxes should not be applied to your order, but please note that it is always at the discretion of the customs officer who handles your order on the day.

Please note that customers with shipping addresses outside of the UK are responsible for any duties, import taxes and handling charges, should they become payable. These costs are not included in the delivery charge with your order.

 

Packaging 

Every sculpture arrives securely and beautifully gift boxed, and protected by our custom made foam sleeves inside in a heavy duty cardboard shipping carton.

Our high specification, custom designed packaging ensures that your order arrives with you safely and in pristine condition, wherever you are in the world.

Please note that all parcels delivered internationally show our company name on the outside of the shipping carton and will have a customs invoice attached to the outside for import purposes.  The customs invoice includes the contents and value of the parcel, which we are legally required to declare when shipping internationally.

 

Booking Delayed Delivery Dates

If you would like to delay the dispatch of your item for any reason (for example, if you would like to order a gift ahead of time), please let us know when you would like it dispatched, by writing a note in the comments box as you check out, or by sending an email to info@nelsonandforbes.co.uk.  Please note that we will dispatch on your chosen date according to your instructions, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee a specific arrival date when sending an item overseas.

45 Day ‘No Questions’ Refund Policy - Extended for Christmas.

We want you to be happy with your new sculpture. However, if you are not for any reason, simply return it to us for a full refund within 45 days of delivery.

This policy is extended for Christmas, so any orders placed in November and December can be returned until 31st January 2024 or 45 days after receipt, whichever is later.  Please call us if you have any questions about this.

 

Return of Goods Policy

Do not return Goods to us without following the steps below. We will not be liable for any Goods returned to us if you do not follow this procedure.

  1. Before returning any Goods to us we request that you contact by e-mail at info@nelsonandforbes.co.uk to inform us that the Goods are being returned.
     
  2. To return your purchase under our 45 day returns policy, pack the goods securely in a suitable shipping box (ideally their original shipping box) and affix the returns label included with the Goods to the outside of the box and post them back to us. We recommend that a tracked delivery service is used for high value items as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged whilst in transit back to us.

  3. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning the Goods to us.

  4. Please make sure that you return the Goods in saleable condition including the certificate of authenticity, information booklet and all gift packaging. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of damaged or missing items from your refund.

  5. Once we have received the Goods we will confirm your refund and payment will be made within 30 days.

Errors and problems with your order

We take every care to make sure that your order arrives safely and exactly as you have asked. If your order should arrive damaged or if any part of your order is missing or incorrect we will remedy the error and refund any shipping charges incurred by you in returning items to us (if applicable).
