As my wife's birthday was approaching, I wanted to buy her something authentically made in the U.K., her home country. Searching around, I stumbled upon the Nelson & Forbes website and after reading about the authenticity of their products, decided to see if anything caught my eye.Overall Satisfaction
This was a most unexpected find, because my wife loves owls and the one from Sue Maclaurin was fantastic! First, shipping (free) to the States, and arriving on time, was a welcome relief. Once I opened the package and saw the detail of that magnificent sculpture, I knew I made the right choice. The signed certificate, background about Sue, details about the forge and the forging process, and the exquisite gift box (also made in the U.K.!) truly makes this a collector's item.
Needless to say, my wife was as thrilled as I. The only disappointment will be if Sue does not add more owls to the collection (hint, hint).

My wife's favourite bird is the Owl. So for her birthday I got her this beautiful sculpture of the Barn Owl by Sue Maclaurin. She was so thrilled.
