Dear Miss Foster,
I have just received the little Alert Hare Maquette which I ordered from you and I thought I would just like to tell you that I am absolutely thrilled to bits with it. I thought it would be beautiful, but it is more than that. It is simply superb.
The presentation is not for a few weeks yet and I propose to keep the hare as it is – in its velvet bag and in its box.
It has been such a pleasure dealing with you and with Nelson & Forbes. Thank you.
