Nelson & Forbes’s gift boxes have been thoughtfully designed to look absolutely beautiful as well as protecting their cargo.

We created a box that is constructed from tough cardboard and covered with the highest quality textured paper. This paper is not only tough enough to ensure that your box looks lovely for years to come, but provides a non slip covering. This can be useful when the bronze sculpture inside is very heavy!

The colour was carefully chosen to ensure that the box stays looking smart for many years. It’s a good job we did this as we have heard all sorts of uses that the boxes have been put to once the sculpture has been placed on display. From jewellery boxes to craft boxes, we are glad to hear that they live on.

Each box is individually made by hand with care and attention to detail by our traditional box maker in the Midlands using processes and machines that date from the turn of the century.

When we order a box, it is cut out of card, scored, folded and taped into position. Each box is then covered in elegant grey paper, which is cut, glued and smoothed into place over the cardboard by hand. Because we know that you like to re use the boxes for other things, we cover the insides of the boxes and lids in matching paper so that they look lovely when you do.
