We bought this for a Christmas present for one of our Daughters and her husband; they had mentioned that they liked hares which they see in the fields adjacent to their house.Overall Satisfaction
They absolutely love it; it is nice when you give and the recipients are happy with your choice. We saw it in their house for the first time yesterday and it looks spectacular.
On a personal note, before I bought this I was slightly puzzled that there seemed to be a great price discrepancy between 'bronze' figures. Nelson & Forbes website explained why. Some figures are made from bronze whilst the others, the cheaper ones, are made from material painted to look like bronze. - Flying Hare 11

I just wanted to let you know how very well received your Flying Hare was, at Christmas. It was a gift for my husband, who has very precise likes and dislikes! The beautiful casting of Sue Maclaurin's sculpture pleased him very much. It has such joy of movement to it, and is so very lifelike. This will now rest on our mantelpiece here at home in snowy Ottawa, with real wild hares dashing across our yard outside (driving our dogs somewhat mad).

I was extremely lucky to see three wild hares boxing and i have been in love with this beautiful creatures ever since. My husband has recently bought me the flying hare which takes pride of place on the fire place. The sculpture is beautiful and is certainly not lonely as he joins my three smaller hare sculptures. Looking forward to adding to my wonderful collection.Overall Satisfaction
