I bought this for my husband's Christmas present, and he was delighted with it. It is now sitting proudly alongside the Lying Greyhound my husband bought me some years ago; they get on very well, I;m pleased to say. The detail in the Dachshund is so well done and very lifelike. I purchased the trotting Dachshund as a birthday present for my wife who is bonkers about sausage dogs. Very impressed with the model which has been much admired by house guests. I was very impressed with the way I was kept informed of production dates and the packaging it arrived in was amazing. Before my two long-haired blue dapples named Hoover and Regina, I had a smooth red named Dachota who could have posed for the Trotting Dachshund beautifully created by Ms Maclaurin.
