Dear Deborah,
You may be wondering why you didn't hear from me yesterday but it was only 30 minutes ago that DPD delivered the parcel. Anticipation has been high all day and it was with enormous pleasure that I unpacked the hedgehog and held him in my hand before inspecting him all over and then taking him outside to photograph him. Copy attached.
Absolutely exquisite are words that don't do him justice. I'm thrilled with him and will present him, all boxed up, to the lady for whom he is destined at our local pub on Easter Saturday, where our friends will be able to do some admiring.
